Public Notice: Sale of Surplus Playground Equipment

The Conoy Township Board of Supervisors is accepting offers for surplus playground equipment previously located in Bainbridge, PA. The equipment is currently situated in the 500 block of North Second Street, Bainbridge, with additional pieces stored at the Bainbridge Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The equipment is being sold as‑is, where‑is, with no warranty—including but not limited to warranties of completeness, condition, safety, or fitness for use. Interested parties are responsible for inspecting the equipment prior to submitting an offer.

Inspection & Removal
Inspection: Prospective buyers may inspect the pieces that are lying in the parking area along North Second Street, Bainbridge, just north of the Townsedge Development at their leisure. Please contact our Roadmaster Bill Sager, 717-405-9457, for inspection of pieces located at the Bainbridge WWTP.

Removal: Buyer is responsible for all removal, transportation, and associated costs. Equipment must be removed by the agreed‑upon date after purchase.

Submitting an Offer
Written offers should be submitted to the Conoy Township Municipal Office at: Conoy Township 211 Falmouth Road Bainbridge, PA 17502 by 2:00 pm on July 2, 2026.

Offers must include:
Buyer name and contact information
Offer amount
Proposed removal date
Acknowledgment of as‑is sale conditions

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. Offers will be discussed at the July 9, 2026, Board of Supervisors meeting.
