Conoy Township Brush Pile

The Conoy Township Brush Pile is now open to residents of Conoy Township. Residents will need to complete the form found below and submit to the Township Office with their $25.00 yearly fee. (Cash – exact change please or Check) 1 Key Fob per residence will be issued and will allow access to the gated facility April 1st – March 31st. Residents will have to renew their registration each year.

Rules & Regulations
LOCATION: Division Street, Bainbridge, PA
HOURS: Dawn to Dusk – 7 day/week
COST: $25.00 per key fob – new or re-activation (No refunds or partial refunds will be given)
All key fobs are active for a 12-month period April 1 through March 31. Fees are not prorated
REPLACEMENT KEY FOB: Replacement of lost/damaged key fob $10.00 (old key fob will be deactivated)
FACILITY: The Compost Site is monitored by surveillance cameras. We encourage you to follow the rules of the facility and to report any abuse of the facility to the Township at 717-367-4991. Random verifications may occur, and you may be asked to show identification. Any violation of the Rules and Regulations will result in loss of access to the facility without any refund. Upon entering the facility, please follow the directional signage, and place all items into the designated areas. The site is only accessible with a key fob.

GENERAL RULES:
For use by Conoy Township Residents only. No Commercial use: even a commercial business you may own as an owner/tenant/responsible party.

  • Place items in designated areas – Separate Woody Waste (items with bark, tree trunks, limbs & branches) from Yard Waste (leaves, green plants, garden waste).
  • No yard waste or plastic bags. Empty your bag and take it with you.
  • No rocks, stones, sod, or dirt.
  • No Tree Stumps. No branches or logs more than 6” in diameter and 4” in length.
  • No trash or garbage.
  • No construction or demolition waste.
  • No painted, pressure treated wood, railroad ties or landscaping timbers.
  • Christmas trees must be free of all ornaments.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure the gate is closed, and the lock is secure before leaving the area.
  • If more than one resident is using the area at the same time, it is your responsibility to swipe your key fob on the lock before entering the area regardless.
    UNACCEPTABLE USE OF THE FACILITY WHICH WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF ACCESS:
  • Use of your key fob by someone not of your property.
  • Disposing any items not accepted at the facility.
  • Damage to gates, signs, buildings, or any other property damage.
